BAD-C Turns 25 This Year

The Black Action Defense Committee (BAD-C) turns 25 years-old later this year.

In commemoration of this momentous, silver milestone, the organization is putting together a memorial book of short stories from community members about how the organization, and its leadership, has impacted them, their families and friends.

The commemorative edition is being developed to be released at the organization’s 25th anniversary celebrations on October 19th.

Individuals who have stories about BADC are invited to write and submit them, in 250 words or less, to: Black Action Defense Committee, 944A St. Clair Ave. West, Toronto, Ontario, M6C 1C8.

BAD-C is arranging two public sessions — Wednesday July 31, from 6.00 PM to 9.00 P.M. and Wednesday August 7, from 6.00 PM to 9.00 P.M. — where individuals with stories can obtain assistance to document them.

For more information contact BAD-C at: email. blackactionstories@gmail.com or call (416) 656-2232.
