Jacqueline McCullough’s Evangelism Reaches Mississauga

Spirituality is often an integral part of the Afro-Caribbean experience. Whatever the required level of involvement, there is an avenue of expression available to all who seek their own truth.

Among those serving congregants and community is Praise and Worship Ministries Inc. (PWMI) in Brampton, where the Reverend Don Lindo is pastor. The non-denominational church “caters to the community as a whole,” says Pastor Lindo.

As part of maintaining its relevance, PWMI seeks to be “a church with a heart for reaching the unsaved and is committed to bringing the gospel to the world. Each year the ministry hosts several events such as conventions, concerts and conferences at its Brampton location.”

On this tenth occasion of its Annual Convention, PWMI will add another big name from the religious evangelical arena to those who have attended to the spiritual needs of the GTA faithful.

The Reverend Doctor Jacqueline E. McCullough will minister to those in attendance with signature dynamic flair. As one of North America’s most recognized female evangelists she is often among the powerful preachers for Bishop T. D. Jakes’ “Woman Thou Art Loose” conferences.

With an enduring engagement to the Gospel of Christ, belief in the Bible’s infallibility, and a love for God’s people, Rev. McCullough is a woman on a quest to learn more of God’s Kingdom.

A second-generation preacher, she is the senior pastor and founder of The International Gathering at Beth Rapha (House of Healing), “Where You Can Experience Healing to Heal by Loving Christ,” in Pomona, New York.  Her vision for evangelistic ministry is expressed in the international outreach of Precious JEM Ministries, Inc., a non-profit religious organization, where she serves as Founder and President.

Dr. McCullough is also the proud Founder and President of Beth Rapha Christian College and Theological Seminary, Inc., located in Tampa, Florida.

Awarded her Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew Theological Seminary, McCullough has also engaged in postgraduate study at the Jewish Theological Seminary.  She is widely noted for excellence in ministry, including recognition from Ebony and Gospel Today magazines as one of the most influential African-American preachers in the United States of America.

Theologically sound, spiritually grounded and culturally relevant, McCullough’s evangelism is expected to take on an attitude of worship, praise and adoration for Jesus Christ.

Also set to minister at PWMI’s convention is Bishop Dr. Wellesley A. Blair, Administrative Bishop of the New Testament Church of God in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.  No stranger to Canada, Bishop Blair has been a welcome staple of the convention for the past six years.

Hailing from a rich, fertile Christian heritage, Blair gave his heart to the Lord at the tender age of 14.  During his over 50 years of ministry, he travelled extensively to numerous countries sharing the gospel.

Bishop Blair is a member of the Caribbean Executive Council with responsibility for Evangelism in the Caribbean.  He also served as the National Evangelism Director for the New Testament Church of God for many years.

A charismatic preacher, Blair routinely delivers a message of hope and presumed victory. Imbued with an exceptionally powerful anointing, Bishop Blair speaks with the authority of a man filled with, and equipped by, the Holy Ghost.

Noted for his Miracle Revival Hour broadcast on Television Jamaica every Saturday morning, his philosophy of life is, “There is absolutely nothing that is impossible with God.”  He is a firm believer that miracles are wrought through the power of prayer.

PWMI’s Annual Convention promises to be a joy-filled time in the Lord for the over 1,000 people expected to be in attendance.

“Bring your dancing shoes,” says Pastor Lindo. If history is to be a teacher, there will be a “great and mighty move of God.” Being an event that is highly attended, it is advised that “you come early – and bring a friend,” adds Lindo.

But what can attendees expect next weekend? Pastor Lindo invokes the frequent words of Bishop Blair and the mindset of many Christians, even in today’s often jaded society: “Come expecting a miracle!”

The event is scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2013 through Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 7pm nightly. Rev. McCullough will sermonize on Friday night, while Bishop Blair will do so on both Saturday and Sunday nights. This year’s convention will be held at Praise Cathedral Worship Centre, 6785 Millcreek Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.
