Sweetie Pie Potatoes

1 (17 ounce) can sweet potatoes or 3-4 fresh cooked sweet potatoes, sliced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter


Drain sweet potatoes (if using canned) OR if using fresh sweet potatoes: cover with water in a large saucepan, bring to a boil, cover and cook until tender, cool slightly, peel and cut into chunks. Arrange in greased shallow baking dish. In small saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, and butter. Bring to a boil. Pour over sweet potatoes. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes.
