1. Would you like to become a ghost hunter? The historic city of Kingston, Ontario is the province’s oldest city and was founded as a French trading post in 1673. Learn more about the city’s rich culture and at times spooky history on a haunted ghost tour of Skeleton Park.
2. Have you dreamed of travelling back in time? Explore archeological remains while visiting Montreal, Quebec at Pointe a Calliere where you can walk through more than 360 years of history in the birthplace of Montreal.
3. Are you looking for a whale of a time? A good mix of nature and nightlife, there is plenty to discover in St. John’s, Newfoundland. At the historic Ferryland Lighthouse, built in 1870, you can enjoy a picnic and spot whales jumping in the water.
4. Afraid of heights? This one’s not for you! Nature lovers will take pleasure in exploring any of the several provincial parks near Courtenay, British Columbia, but the view from the Capilano Suspension Bridge is not to be missed. The bridge, built in 1889, stretches for 450 feet across and 230 feet above the treetops and Capilano River.
