BASSETERRE, St. Kitts-Nevis, July 13, (CMC) – Police have arrested a St. Vincent and the Grenadines national after he, allegedly, killed a woman at their home, today, a few yards from a police station.

Police said that the woman, Samantha Peniston, who is also from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, had been stabbed and killed at the house.

“Initial investigations is that the alleged offender came to the police station and reported the matter that he had killed his girlfriend,” Acting Commander of District ‘B’, Superintendent Travis Rogers, told local media.

Rogers would not comment on whether Cleveland Lee, who is in his early 40’s, may have attempted to commit suicide.

He was later taken to hospital for treatment.
