Silver Airways Increases Flights Into Dominica

Roseau, Dominica October 16, 2019 — Silver Airways, the new owner of Seaborne Airlines, is increasing flights to Dominica from next month.

The announcement was made, yesterday, by the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), which revealed that, from November 12, Silver Airways, with flights operated by Seaborne, will increase the number of flights to Dominica by three each week.

The airline’s schedule will now see daily flights into Dominica from San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), with onward connections, through their code share partners, Delta, American Airlines and JetBlue, as well as other airlines.

Additionally, the departure time from SJU has been pushed back to 3:15pm and the departure time out of Dominica has been moved to 7:15am — both changes allowing for greater connections with Silver’s code share partners and other airlines servicing SJU. “This means that travelers to Dominica now have more options and better convenience when considering travel to Dominica,” the DDA said.

“The additional flights will create an additional 102 seats, in and out of Dominica. This now increases our capacity, through Silver/Seaborne, to a total of 14 flights and 234 seats in and 234 out of Dominica per week.”

“This comes in time for visitors intending to come to Dominica for the winter season, and is no doubt good news for the Cabrits Resort and Spa Kempinski, which just officially opened”, on Monday, the DDA added.
