St. Vincent Police Probe Early Morning Murder

KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, February 24, 2020 (CMC) – Police are investigating the death of a North Union man, who was chopped, at a karaoke bar, early Saturday morning.

The police have not yet released any information on the matter, but eyewitnesses say that the killing took place in a section of the community, known as Long Piece.

The police have detained one person, who is reported to have been sitting at the gate of his home, awaiting the arrival of law enforcement officials.

The incident is the second homicide in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this year. On January 30, Arianna Taylor-Israel was shot to death, and her husband, Mitch Israel, has since been charged with her murder.
