Metrolinx Opens You To A World Of Possibilities In Your New Home

Visit the Metrolinx booth at the 8th annual Toronto Newcomer Day Information Fair – the essential guide for all new Canadians.

Get access to everything you need to live your very best life in Canada at Toronto Newcomer Day – your one-stop destination with everything you need from new immigrant resources, newcomer information booths, a newcomer food fair and lots more.  Metrolinx is your key to unlocking the possibilities in your new home by connecting you to the places, people and experiences that matter to you most.

Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario that focuses on planning and improving a better transit network across the city and suburbs.

The booth at the fair will feature a large digital interactive map that will show you how easy it is to connect with experiences that matter most – the places you might interview and work at, the locations you want to visit, the foods you’d love to try, and people you’d like to meet.

Make your way around the region with its family of transit services: GO Transit, a network of trains and buses that run across the Greater Golden Horseshoe, including Toronto, Niagara region, and north to Barrie; UP Express, a dedicated air-rail link between Union Station in Downtown Toronto and Pearson International Airport; and PRESTO, a handy way to pay for fare on participating transit agencies.

Pick up an information brochure and a Possibilities Passport to learn more and get great discounts to events and attractions with PRESTO Perks.

With Metrolinx, you can explore new possibilities, new opportunities, and new experiences.
