Ettie Rutherford 1We can all agree that the recent past has left both adults and children, all over the world, disillusioned, confused, physically and mentally depleted, as well as questioning how to move forward in a practical manner.

I hope this message will assist you to feel more confident in facing the future, with a heightened sense of purpose and confidence, and will assist you to develop new and positive habits.

We know that creating effective habits is the fastest and best path to changing lives for the better — so, please, note the following thoughts.

With enough willpower, new and positive habits are easy to create and sustain. Willpower is a limited resource, and that is why habits are so powerful. Just as brushing your teeth is free from the need for willpower, your new, empowering habits will also be easy to perform, each day, on autopilot.

Consequently, you have the power to control your behavior, and your destiny.

Your habits must be based on the goals, which you wish to achieve; and choosing the right habits goes a very long way in helping to make your goals a reality. Understand that positive behaviors, performed over and over, will ultimately, bring the results that you desire.

Negative habits are obstacles to achieving important goals. You are stronger, with each negative habit you release, and each new positive habit you embrace. The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your habits, so work on implementing quality habits, regardless of what others are saying about your present situation.

Today, you can move closer to the life of your dreams, through positive habits and you will be free to impress yourself, with the degree of control, which you have over your behavior and over the quality of your life.

Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Which of your current habits are most counter-productive to your goals?
2. What new habits have you adapted that will benefit your future endeavors?
