Toronto Police Seeking Help To Locate Missing Woman

TORONTO, Ontario (Wednesday, June 15, 2022) — The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is requesting the public’s assistance to locate a missing woman.

Tasha -- missing womanTanisha McPherson, 43, was last seen on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 10:50 a.m., in the Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue, East area.

Concerned for her safety, the TPS describes McPherson as 5’6″, with a slim build, brown eyes, dark hair, and is known to wear a variety of different wigs. When last seen, she was wearing a brown jacket or cardigan, and is believed to frequent the downtown core and Moss Park area.

The TPS says “A person can be reported missing at any time — there is no 24 hour waiting period.

“If you are concerned for someone’s immediate safety, call 9-1-1. Otherwise, you can report a person as missing to the Toronto Police Service by calling the non-emergency number 416-808-2222.”
