Toronto Black Business Survey Launched

TORONTO, Ontario — For the first time in Toronto, several leading Black organizations have partnered to survey the Black business community, in an attempt to get a clear understanding of how many Black-led businesses are in the city.
The organizations nclude: Black In Canada, the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA), First Fridays Toronto, ByBlacks.com, The Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA), A Different Booklist and Tropicana Community Services Organisation.
The organisations say that the findings of the survey will be used to determine the composition, size, and geographic location of Black-led businesses.
And they add, the goal is to help identify ways the City of Toronto can assist Black-led businesses to prosper and grow.
The orgainsations assure Black business owners that they “will not share your personal information with the City of Toronto, nor will it be sold or shared with a third party.”
To participate in the survey, which , according to the organisations, should take only 10 minutes, go to: www.blackincanada.com/toronto-black-business-survey/.
