Trinidad Prime Minister Meets with US Congresswoman Maxine Waters

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago (Thursday, April 1, 2021) — Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago and Chairman of CARICOM, Dr. Keith Rowley, met, virtually, with US Congresswoman, Maxine Waters, who is also the Chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services, last Thursday.

The meeting focused on several matters of mutual interests, and discussions included talks on access to COVID-19 vaccines, Venezuela, Haiti and other CARICOM-related issues.

Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Senator Dr. Amery Browne; and Ambassador for Trinidad and Tobago to CARICOM, Frances Seignoret, also attended the meeting.
