Teenager Held In Connection With Death Of Nine-year-old

KINGSTON, Jamaica CMC – A 14-year-old boy has been taken into custody in connection with the death of nine year old Romain Robinson, in Plantation Heights in the western parish of St. James. 

According to a statement from the Constabulary Communication Unit, arrangements are being made for the teen to be questioned.

This will be done in the presence of his parents and attorneys.

It’s understood that investigators went to Plantation Heights on Friday morning and held the teenager who allegedly confessed to the killing.

A resident found Romain’s body on Thursday, in bushes with the hands and feet bound and the throat slashed.

Romain’s killing came two days after the bodies of twin boys Brandon and Braden Jones were recovered from the sea at Dump Up Beach, Montego Bay, after they were swept away by floodwaters Monday evening.
