General Manager Of Ramada Princess Hotel In Guyana Wanted For Fraud And Immigration Violations

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, Friday, January 10, 2020 (CMC) – The police have launched a search for Uger Turetgen – the General Manager of the Ramada Princess Hotel, who is wanted for fraud and immigration violations.

The bulletin was issued, yesterday morning, for Turetgen, who is from Turkey.

According to reports, the government of Turkey wrote to the authorities, here, seeking the extradition of Turetgen to face criminal charges in his homeland.

In an article, published by News Source Guyana, the police indicated that a request for extradition is already with the Director of Public Prosecutions and the issue is being pursued. 

The Guyana Police Force has asked anyone with information about the whereabouts of the hotel’s general manager, to call the police emergency number or contract the nearest police station.
