ST. ANDREW, Jamaica March 1, 2019 — The Reggae Gold Awards ceremony closed out Jamaica’s Reggae Month, on Wednesday evening, at the National Indoor Sports Complex in St. Andrew.
Some 100 awards were presented to reggae royalty, icons and luminaries — including Beres Hammond, Derrick Morgan, Ken Boothe, Sizzla Kalonji, Capleton and Yellowman — for their input and contribution to the genre and music industry.
Scores of musicians, recording artistes and producers, which included former Prime Ministers, Edward Seaga and P.J. Patterson, who provided legal services to the industry.
